GRADING

We use conservative visual grading. In general, I grade a record as if I were buying it myself, and then I lower it a half grade.

Standard Goldmine grading is used.I try to avoid using the word mint,This is a grading class used by coin dealers when a coin is sealed at the mint and has never been touched and it really dosent apply to records. Our best grade is "near new" which is what a new record is supposed to be,but there will probably be dust on it and maybe even a fingerprint or two.Rest assured it will be a nice record,Vg+ may have a very light scuff or several lite surface scratches that are inaudible,vg is a decent record with some  scratches or imperfections and there may be some audible noise basically vg means the record is your typical used record,Vg- will look pretty bad and will play with alot of noise and will have scratches and scuffs but will still play through. If a records life span were to be measured on a monthly basis this record would be about mid November,we only list a record in this condition if it is rare enough to still be desirable.Anything below that grade (and quite frankly most of the Vg- grades)go in the trash can.

If there are other imperfections on the record we will make note of it

In regard to the cd's listed on this site. They are all mint sealed copies. If any used cds are listed, they will be noted as such.
