| Some good news for all Pittsburgh oldie’s lovers and record collectors (or anyone else who savors the 50’s 60’s Pittsburgh sounds). The infamous and long running Pittsburgh Record Collectors night is back after a short hiatus, and has moved to a new venue.
If you have attended “Collectors Night” over the years, you already know that it’s a lot of fun. If you haven’t then shame on ya,you owe it to yourself to check it out. It’s now held every month on the first Tuesday of the month at “The Obey House Tavern located at 1337 Steuben Street- Crafton. Pa. 15205. Thier phone number is 412-922-3883 they also have a website that features upcoming events at www.obeyhouse.com.
You can also contact Jim Butteri (The Rat) at 412-921-2828. Bring along your records to trade or sell,or you can also sign up for a half hour playing session when you get there. If your from the “Burg” and your into music, your old friends are probably attending this, if your from out of town, or are close by stop by & make some new friends.
The Obey House has great food and has been a longtime favorite of the west end locals.
From the West end Bridge and the West End Circle take Steuben Street up the hill follow for about 2 miles the "Obey" is on the left at the top of the hill.
