THIS IS A REISSUE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gino Washington & The Atlantics-Come Monkey With Gino Washington- E.P.-Rock & Roll/Soul/Instrumental-45 RPM.
This is a great 45 that combines 2 great rockin instrumentals with two early 60's soul tunes on the flip.Gino Washington was from Detroit and was heavily involved in the Motown "styled" soul releases from that period. The Atlantics were a smokin' instrumental group that recorded a number of fine instrumentals from about this same time.Somehow these two different backgrounds crossed paths and this E.P. is a compilation of the joint effort. The two vocals are sort of frat/soul sounding with a Gary U.S. Bonds influence. The instrumentals are rockin guitar based tracks.
Romp & stomp to all four chart-bustin Amon label sides on one wax seven incher!
